I've been using Photoshop pretty much ever since it was invented.

Below you will find a selection of imagery created with Photoshop and/or Illustrator. Some the more humorous images were created for on-line Photoshopped art competitions. Click here to see some of my digital photography.

These images were generated wholly or partly using Photoshop and/or Illustrator.

These images were generated for on-line Photoshop competitions.

A childhood nightmare revisited. Goth Christmas decorations One of my more atmospheric creations. Insects on vacation. A stearman biplane made out of cranefly wings. (see inset)






If wild animals become domesticated. The vacuum cleaner fish keeps the world's oceans tidy. It's a cat-a-pillar. The kiwingaroo: an oddity on either side of the Tasman. A dragon inspired by the work of Roger Dean.

The mythical Pigasus. The tiny raccoon mite: this was technically one of my best. Numbat + bumblebee = numblebee. Nothing is safe from Photoshop: not even classical art. A flying lizard.

Image restoration, propaganda and colourisation

We live in as world where nothing is what it appears to be, thanks to Photoshop. I encourage and support this trend.


Clara: this picture was taken in 1922. A vintage racer from the 30s An image from the 1890s. Restoring images this old requires a certain amount of guesswork. Arizona University Building circa 1902 restored to full colour. Eleanor, sepia/handcoloured circa 1948, restored to full colour
